THE
WEATHER

As in most West European countries, Holland has a cold winter,
especially during the months of January and February when the
temperatures drop till around 0 Degrees Celsius, sometimes with
snow. On the months of march and april, springs the Tulips and
cover the country with a beautiful gown of colours. The summer
temperature highs are typically around 20/25 Degrees Celsius.
Spring and autumn are often wet but pleasurable with an average
monthly rainfall of more than 100 ml.
When to visit? Any time can be the best time
to visit. The summer months are wonderful as the whole city
seems to live outdoors.. From mid-October to mid-March temperatures
declines, as winter falls in, but there are fewer tourists,
things are cheaper and cultural life is at its most authentic.
The shoulder seasons can offer the best of both worlds.
Amsterdam unique experience is inhanced as artists from all
over the world move to the city, attracted by it's beauty and
liberal character. You can experience this in many ways at the
many theatres, festivals, galeries and even plain on the streets.
